Buongiorno š¼.
Welcome into week 2. Iād say week 1 hit us with nearly everything and then some. By now Iāve caught you all up on the daily chronicles of the Smarties. Pulling our hair out, I meant living our best lives in Poggio Nativo. Last night Mike & I were talking, reminiscing on the ikea haul trip and me kicking pillows accidentally down Via Regina Elena… while ugly crying via ft to Kim. Remember the funeral day… he informed me āyou did have 1/2 a breakdown & I definitely did too pushing a couch up & down cobblestoneā. That was last week, moving on.
Yesterday on our walk back home from finding no draino, we explored our street and connecting alleys around us. I could sit and stare at random old doors and arches all day. The amount of detail and craftsmanship is simply beautiful. While walking down one street we saw an older woman hanging her clothes, I waved up ~ Buonasera, she seemed so excited to see us. She had flowers out and it looked so beautiful ~ we waved not knowing each other or what each other was trying to say, but it was a lovely moment. I felt she was someoneās sweet nonna. I miss my Nana Del beyond words. Our zip code all the way here 5000+ miles away from home is my Nanaās birthday (March 20, 1930) 02030 talk about another sign.
Today weāre on our way back into Rome Fiumicino Airport to switch out vehicles. We rented a larger wagon for the ikea trip, to save on delivery. Now, we are downsizing.Ā Say a prayer Smartie fits in the Panda without getting a Charlie horse.
Iāve read all your comments, and I canāt tell you how much I appreciate your kind words and thoughts. I love that you want to follow along on this journey with us. Unfortunately, I canāt reply at times, finding internet bars is like finding the cure for menopausal weight loss.
Enjoy some photos of our absolutely beautiful village. These are from my phone, I will get out with my camera this week. I have always loved photography and in my past Disney Cast
