I finally think I have an actual website up and running! Yes, this is a major accomplishment for me, Kerri Lee. I am not at all computer savvy, so here goes everything! For those who have tuned into my previous blog on “wix” I owe you a bottle of tylenol! Or perhaps a bottle of wine, maybe in Italy one day. That site was NOT user friendly, well, not for me anyway. It would delete content, upload photos in the middle of paragraphs (when it decided to upload) and freeze without warning. I’m so glad others have no issues with it. I however, am not that person that can just do something without problems. Everything I do will definitely end in an issue. Always. Kind of like my Vodafone activation in Italy. Yup, it never happened. Well, not for Kerri Lee Dunn Smart anyway. Nope, that other gal using my identity better pay her outstanding invoice. We did however get our new account activated in Smartie’s name! We did ask our neighbor to open the Vodafone box to confirm it wasn’t a phonebook inside lol. He did confirm it’s the modem we have all been waiting for! Now, if we can only install it once we arrive. That will be fantastic.
I’m happy to begin again here. I had this heartfelt blog entry the other day, I sat and poured my heart out and hit “publish” only to find out it was missing. It is quite frustrating because you do journal from your heart, or at least I do. So to see it deleted by the aliens is kind of frustrating. I’m hoping this new site is much easier on your eyes and won’t give you a migraine. I have enough of those for everybody. So, I decided to start over and bring you all along once again. New and improved, I hope. So, let me know what you think!! I appreciate all the support and comments you guys give back. I know we have yet to meet in person, but I do look forward to maybe one day seeing your smiling face in Italy!! And to all my other friends and family, you know I love ya! Thanks for wanting to spend a minute with me…with us….on this crazy journey.
I’m wiped out, my eyes are bugging out from staring at this computer trying to figure out plugins and widgets and lions and bears ….oh my! I’m sure the site will change, a lot. So just ignore the “maintenance” while Kerri gets her act together and her blog:). I plan on catching up quite a bit, so get ready! I have some blogging to blog!
I did receive the help of my daughter’s friend who suggested this website and theme website. Thanks Maggie! I owe you a bottle of Tylenol as well. After her suggestion, I sat determined to figure this out. I bothered her throughout the day, and felt bad enough. I have gone through far worse in my life, creating a blog should be easy peasy……It should be. But, for those older than 25 not so much. And the younger kids just don’t get that. There is true satisfaction when you achieve something you set your mind to! I’m feeling pretty fantastic right about now lol. I hope this is viewing pleasure for you too and not like the last thing I threw your way….are you smarter than a 3rd grader? Nope. I’m not. But, I can purchase an ancient home (sight unseen) in a foreign country, during a world wide pandemic better than anyone! And I want to take you all along on this journey. So here we are. Again.
